To have a better cost-allocation in the tvlk-prod AWS account, the Cloud Infra team is checking for resources that are not tagged yet.

We found that a large number of VPC Endpoint and VPC Endpoint Services hasn't been tagged.

What do you need to do?

For VPC Endpoint / PrivateLink Consumer

Update your code to use version v0.2.1 of terraform-aws-privatelink-consumer module (https://github.com/traveloka/terraform-aws-privatelink-consumer/releases/tag/v0.2.1).
Put comment on the Tagging Status column after your VPC Endpoint is tagged so we can track the progress.

For VPC Endpoint Service / Private Link Provider

If the Endpoint service already use our Terraform module, update your code to use version v0.2.0 of terraform-aws-privatelink-provider module (https://github.com/traveloka/terraform-aws-privatelink-provider/releases/tag/v0.2.0).
If the Endpoint Service not using Terraform module add the following tags : Name, Service, Description, Environment, ProductDomain and ManagedBy. Please refer to vpc_endpoint_service terraform documentation.
Put comment on the Tagging Status column after your VPC Endpoint Service is tagged so we can track the progress.

Timeline

We aim at getting all VPC Endpoint and VPC Endpoint Services in tvlk-prod tagged by the end of March 2020. We will regularly remind teams regarding this plan.
