DataDome bot detection enablement on Hotel Desktop Web

Hi guys, we plan to continue enabling DataDome bot detection to Traveloka Hotel Desktop Web. We have enabled it for entire Traveloka mobile web since last year.

When?

Monday, 2 March 2020 at 2PM (UTC+7)

Why?

To make crawling our hotel inventory more expensive to do for bad bots
To make desktop tracking data cleaner from bots

What will happen?

If DataDome suspects a request to be coming from a bad bot, they will show a captcha to that user, there will be no problem if the user can solve it.
Like during previous rollout in mobile web, we are going to monitor captcha acceptance/rejection rate to ensure that we don't have too much false positive.
