This doc aimed to share the background and details of the new proposal fo Loka Product Roadmap, so that the existing stakeholders can assess and work together to finalize this.

DESCRIPTION

Enabling Universal Search in Project Loka

As the Homepage does not fully show case the Occasion-based, Dish, etc, user may not know this feature does exist in Project Loka, thus we need to integrate Universal Search / enabling Free Text Search in Project Loka to strengthen the search capability and let users be able to find those discovery features in the Search if they need it.

Enabling Multi Content Search Experience

Once we enable the Free Text Search Capability on the Loka, we need to be able to show multi content search experience. For example if users click on Padang we may be able to show different search result based on the category : Resto Name, Dish Name, or even related Feed (SUN concept)

Enabling Advance Parameters in Search (Best Known For, etc)

Currently several restuarant tags (Best Known For, Facilities) are not searchable from the current Search. e.g. Users cannot find Restaurant that have free wifi, etc.

Personalization & Personalized Food Recommendation including Personalized Homepage Feed

We have big hypothesis that Personalization is very important in the Food Discovery area, where the relevancy of a recomendation, would be able to hook users in our platform, bcs we managed to understand them , giving the right recommendation that they can act upon while eliminating the rest that is less relevant. This hopefully could grow the user engagement (daily visit, daily usage, and retention rate) in our platform

[Q3] Advanced Filter Sorting Improvement // Bringing Offline F&B Discovery to Online

Currently we realized that there is a lot of Food Discovery Activities that happened on offline basis e.g. asking ur friends on what to eat, etc. Is there any opportunity area that we can tap into? Can we bring this offline discovery experience to online basis? So we can be the top of mind platform whenever users would like to discover about the Food?
