FPRGRFD was a stack created under flight product domain (FPR) during the early stage of general refund, thus named as FPR General ReFunD, which is wrong in some ways. Years after, IPI team was emerged as the curator of it, thus started migrating general refund from only a centralized database, into a platform which provide standardized refund flow, both from customer side and ops side. And since the start of general refund release, FPRGRFD has been owned by Flight TDM Backend it's not relevant anymore to use FPR domain stack.
What is the decommission date?
March 30th, 2020.
Why is it necessary?
Am I affected?
Last registered product as REFUND_TYPE as per 2019-12-06:
What do I need to do?
Integrate with new general refund platform (as product, you will only need to focus on your cancellation process and information).
For starters, you could read brief integration guideline at https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1oUzMB8scoc9IN0H7KbjnWB3HAM6vkDq-qvCEGYZNrII/edit?usp=sharing , next you will need to inform and have a thorough discussion with IPI team.
It seems to work just fine?
Actually, some codes were not owned by us, but resides and alive at FPRGRFD, the only one we manage actually for saving the data as-is to database and a helper for calculating the refunded amount.
Take notes that we are planning to shut the server down at the decommission date.
