Hello All,
Currently, there are 615 Instances in stopped state in the tvlk-prod account. This creates a potential security risk, since stopped instances don’t get operating systems security updates.
While the instances themselves doesn’t add cost, each instance has a root volume attached. 615 x 8GB volume will cost around USD 590 / month.
We found that some of these stopped instances have already been migrated to ASG, but the original (non-ASG) have not been terminated yet.

Please coordinate with Infra delegates from your department to do the decommissioning of the instance and related resources.
Don’t forget to cleanup your cluster inventory in Ansible Tower.
