Do you know that when you expose your service to public, it instantly becomes vulnerable to attacks?

Just like your service's legitimate consumers, the attackers can also access the endpoint. The difference is that they will conduct several malicious interactions. Those attacks can be brute force, SQL injections, cross-site scripting, or even harmful file executions.

Web Application Firewall (WAF) is what you need, it will help you to reduce the risk of your service from getting abused.
