- Completed Insurance team workshop using the new format (hands-on strategy, rather than a theoretical exercise)
- Initial discussions around feature store and agreement on its details
- We are pausing the workshops for 3-4 weeks to regroup on the strategy
- Initial discussions with Merchandising team to enable their ML use cases
- Introducing Data Enablement and CDP to CFP (Central Fraud Platform) team and discussing how CDP can help with their business objectives
- Addressing CXs request for Data enablement workshop
Technical
- CDP’s architecture discussion with the entire team, and addressing concerns, as a handover from James directly
- Data Enablement PR review automation to reduce review turn around time
- Introduced new commenting & annotating standards for achieving this
- Spikes on creating cookie cutters for the data services and ingestion pipelines - to reduce the turn around time to onboard a new product after the data enablement workshop
- Team is working on creating the pipelines and data services for Insurance product
- Evaluating CockroachDB as an alternative to BigTable, for CDP’s storage needs
Other
- Naveen setting up 2hrs every week to conduct Office Hours to clear doubts on Data Enablement & CDP - First one scheduled for today 3-4:50pm @ https://traveloka.zoom.us/j/177152081.
- Most engineers and PMs have been added to #data-enablement channel, to seek assistance on anything related to data enablement
