Product Infra Reps (Delegates) Program

Since February 2019 Site-Infra has been conducting the "Delegation Program" (also called Product Infra Reps Program). This is a train-the-trainer program aimed at teaching product teams to safely manage their production infrastructure in the shared tvlk-prod account. The goal is to increase agility and velocity of our product teams by introducing and delegating infrastructure management in the tvlk-prod account to product team representatives.

TPE, CorpTech and LnD departments each sent delegates to Site-Infra to learn how to manage shared infrastructure in tvlk-prod:

TPE Department: Widyanto Priambodo / Bobby (@bobbypriambodo)
CorpTech Department: Agus Prasetiyo / Agus (@agusprasetiyo)
LnD Department: Salman Abdulqohar / Salman (@salman.abdulqohar)

Now these delegate trainers are preparing the next wave of product team delegates, who will also be able to manage infrastructure for their department upon graduation.

What has changed in Site-Infra workflow?

Review, estimation and execution of infrastructure requests is now done by the delegates. Direct all questions or concerns about your infra requests to your delegates, they can escalate to Site-Infra, if necessary.
For the time being, infrastructure request creation process remains the same (follow Infra Request Guides to create tickets via TechOps Service Desk)
