New Process of Publishing Proxy Library

Setup CodeBuild Project for Each Library

Backend Infra team just announced new process to publish postgres proxy library and need all of tv-sql-product users to follow Postgres Proxy CodeBuild Publisher wiki.

If you encounter any issues during the setup, please contact Backend team at #backend slack channel

Changes during the transition period

If you are still willing to publish proxy library from you Local Machine, please use this following command:

./deploy_library.sh {TEAM}:{SUBDOMAIN}:{PROJECT} -d

Use -d flag instead -r

Deadline: 1 Month

On-Call & On-Leave

Do follow up to every ticket and do not let it stuck with no update.

This is to ensure that both Assignee and Reporter notified about the issue.

Enterprise Bot-Play

Release Dashboard

Deploy-old is gone so don't use it anymore. :negative_squared_cross_mark:
Deploy-new will be deccommisioned sooner or later (no further details about this from site-infra).
So, if you still use Release Dashboard, do move it to Ansible Tower (It is not an excuse for broken development)

If you need help to move to Ansible Tower, do create ticket and follow up to @ican & @irvan

Deploy Sqitch using Tower

You can now deploy sqitch using Tower instead of using Release Dashboard by following these steps:

Open Ansible Tower and login
Click TEMPLATES on the top navigation bar or click here
Search for Deploy Sqitch templates or click here
Click the Rocket Icon :rocket:
Select the Inventory that has access to the target DB (RDS) and click NEXT
Select the Credentials of the selected inventory and click NEXT
Input one of the hosts of your selected inventory (this should be IP Address of the instance) to LIMIT field, click NEXT
Fill the survey (Details for every fields is provided there), and then Click LAUNCH
