Hi everyone,
We've got a notification from AWS that there's a scheduled maintenance (2018-08-24 12:00:
See https://29022131.atlassian.net/browse/TOSD-4043 for more details.
In order to prevent the maintenance from disrupting our production system, I'm going to stop-start the instance before the given schedule.
What are the actionables?
What will be the risk of this operation?
Increased load for the other 2 fprdata-app instances. However, based on this metric (https://app.datadoghq.com/dash/401195/fpr-fprdata-app---system?live=true&page=0&is_auto=false&from_ts=1534743192143&to_ts=1534746792143&tile_size=m&fullscreen=307109700) the CPU utilization for all fprdata-app instances is below 10%. Having 2 active fprdata-app instances should not be a problem, therefore this operation is low risk.
When should we do it?
As this week is a 4-day-only week, I'm planning to do the maintenance tonight, 19:30. However, please let me know if you have some concerns/comments.
