JIRA Standard Adoption Announcement
I have moved all our issues from PI JIRA project into separate projects per-team, according to the standards in this JIRA standard document.

Notable changes:
- Use Story instead of Task to represent development work. Story issues have workflow that's designed for development work, with statuses like "Released to Staging", "Delivered to Production", etc.
- Task is now reserved for non development work, and thus has simpler workflow.
- You may now use Sub-Tasks to track small sub-tasks of an issue. Please use them wisely.
- Some statuses that we use are not available. I mapped "Released to Production" to "Ready to Production" because "Delivered to Production" is the new standard's equivalent to "Done".
- We should use year first to denote quarter, so we should use
2018-Q2
instead of Q2-2018
.
- I have finally found how to make other people administrator, and thus has made each of the lead the administrator of their respective project. So you should be able to edit project settings, create boards, create components and other administrative stuff.
- As administrators, you should have the right to delete issues, however, please don't use it to delete "Completed" issues, we need them for historical purposes. Please use it only to delete tasks that are duplicates or incorrectly created.
- We used to use Component to mark issues as belonging to one team. Now, each team has their own JIRA project, so team leads can create components that provide domain separation within each team. For example, Web Infra can create "Developer Experience" and "Build & Release" component to have better categorization of your stories and tasks.
- Alongside the "Main Board", I have created "OKR", "Tech Debt", and "Incident" board following the standards. Please use Incident type issues to track your team's incidents, and label tech-debts appropriately.
- For content engineering (@semmatabei), since Service Request with Approvals doesn't exist in the new standard, I changed it to "Story". I hope this doesn't negatively impact your workflow. If it does, please contact me and we'll sort it out. I still have the list of old Service Request with Approvals issues.
