MoM UID Hiring Reflection #1

Highlights

Our knowledge and understanding of the hiring process, especially from the POPs side, is limited.
The UID Technical Interview Guideline has been a valuable foundation for us in conducting our interviews. Based on our discussion, we also see the need to expand the document to formalize on what constitutes the ideal technical capabilities of a potential UID candidate—including the traits that we should pay careful attention to.
Identified minor details of the interview structure that we can improve
Identified areas where we can improve personally as technical interviewers e.g. How to ask better questions, how to deal with senior candidates, etc.

Actionables

Set sync with Gunawan, Nadira, MIKA, Arga to get to know more and align on the hiring process e.g. Candidate screening, suggestion to add specific requirement to assess visual execution, etc.
Updating the UID Technical Interview Guideline over time; Arie to elaborate flags for candidates and Reza to add a master checklist for things to assess.
