Town Hall Presentation

All teams participating in the Central Team Outing will be given opportunity to share their achievements during the town hall on Thursday night.

The goal of this presentation is to highlight the things you've accomplished this year, the things you're proud of and would like to share with the rest of the teams. If your team is brand new, feel free to talk about your the plans and goals you have set for yourself in the year to come.

Since we have less than 2 hours for this, each team will be given up to 7 minutes of time to present to the rest of the teams.

Each team willing to present must add a yellow Title Slide to the presentation draft containing:

The name of the team
Team's mission and/or vision

If you want to use additional slides, add them after your Title Slide in the presentation draft. Use provided template.

The deadline for Title Slides is EOD Friday, Nov. 16, 2018. If you your team isn't in the draft by then, we assume you've got nothing to share.

The deadline for final changes to the slide deck is EOD Friday, Nov. 23, 2018. Make sure you prepare and add your slides before then.

Advice for your presentation:

Keep your text brief. You only have 7 minutes, so keep it under 5 slides. Avoid placing too much text on each slide - it's your opportunity to tell others about your work, not for them to read about it.
Start with a message. Consider the ultimate message you want to share with your audience.
Tell a story. Human brain likes storytelling, construct a good narrative around your message, make it personal and relatable, but keep it simple.
