To provide better predictability of time a given request spends in the Site-Infra backlog (Awaiting Implementation) and reduce time a given request spends in information gathering states (Waiting for Customer, Waiting for Support), Site-Infra will do experiment to use first in first out (FIFO) approach when executing request on backlog.
The new flow experiment will start on week of September 24th, 2018 and plan to run for four weeks.
Requests on backlog will be sorted by ticket ID. Site-Infra will still have weekly sprint, Sprint will be populated by taking tickets from top of backlog up to the velocity of the team.
Velocity of the team will be average of completed request from the last four sprint. This data will be taken from velocity report on JIRA.
Weekly sprint planning that scheduled on Friday (or last working day of the week) at 17:00 (UTC+7) will be changed as evaluation meeting of this experiment.
