Hello, folks.
I need your input, please give some time to read this announcement.
We're starting to implement ASG deployment in production. And, Site-Infra is planning to enforce ASG starting from next week, any java EC2 ticket that comes after Monday (Oct 29) will be rejected, and need to be replaced with ASG.
Considering this deployment is still a new thing for most of us. I want ask whether the deadline is reasonable or not. We don't want to ruin your plan especially at end of year rush, but we obviously don't want to add more technical debt.
Feel free to suggest the deadline in this post's comment section. If it's reasonable, we might consider to change the deadline.
For tickets that already in our backlog before today. We will reach out and ask whether you want to change to auto scaling or not.
