We're migrating to Github tomorrow.

If all goes well and 3.0.0 is submitted today, we will start using Github by tomorrow (4 April 2018). Here are a couple things you need to know:

Familiarize yourself with the new environment.

We have provided 3 different ways for you to work with Github:

We recommend that you setup the tools (if needed) and try out the new workflow on a dummy repository before "experimenting" on actual repository. For experiment purposes, we've prepared this repository for you: https://github.com/traveloka/ios-playground. Here are some things you can try:

Tonight 10PM, iOS repository on Phabricator will be read-only.

Of course, this happens only if the submission is done today. In read-only mode, you can no longer push code to Phabricator repository.

After the setup process is completed, we will announce the migration command in #ios-devs channel. The migration command itself is very simple, and will not take as much time like before.

After moving to Github, migrate your ongoing code reviews in Phabricator.

There are currently no automatic migration of ongoing code review from Phabricator to Github. You will have to manually recreate the Pull Requests.

Note: there are 2 people left in our team that haven't got the invite, and we're working on escalating the invite man-bowing:man-bowing:
