Reliability is important for us, but currently we don't have a standard and clear way to measure it. We want to make sure everyone is on the same page when talking about reliability, so we created this document: https://29022131.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BEI/pages/276924764/Backend+Service+RAS+Objectives. The purpose is: to give us a guidance to determine clear targets for your services, how to measure them, and how to achieve them.
Please take a look at it and don't hesitate to give us feedback, because it will be valuable to all of us. After reading the document, we want you to determine which tier your service(s) belong to and what will be the SLOs for each of them. This will be important, especially if your service often causes incident.
