ACS Shared Staging Deployment via Tower
Hi hotel-eng, for this week you can experiment deploying to ACS shared staging machine via ansible tower. Please follow the guideline below:
- Sign in via Google to https://tower.noc.tvlk.cloud/ (might need to click the icon twice)
- Go to TEMPLATES. These are the job templates that you can use to run our playbook using set parameters. If you don't see any job templates, contact @bobbypriambodo, you might not be assigned to the correct team yet.
- Search for
Release acs shared staging job template. This is the shared job template to deploy any service to acs-shared-stg.
- Click the shuttle/rocket icon
:rocket: on the right. This is the "Launch" button.
- You will be presented a "survey". Put in service name, service version, and optionally fetcher version. This survey may be different for different job templates.
- Click LAUNCH
- ???
- Profit!
All demand services (aprsapi, aprbapi, aprcapi, aprps, aprops, hb, and hinv) is able to be deployed via tower.
If your service is not listed above, here are the steps you must do in order to make them able to be deployed via Tower:
