Aprpid-memcached is created to cache hotel inventories. It was originally meant to be used from aprps-app, but aprps-app is still unused and scheduled for stopping [TOSD-2350]. Currently hotel inventories are handled by hinv-app and put into hinv-memcached. Hinv-memcached is already storing many other data, and since we can't afford to risk losing hotel inventories during peak hours in case of degraded hinv-memcached, we plan to migrate the cache to aprpid-memcached from hinv-app before EOY.

Migrate hotel inventories cache to a dedicated aprpid-memcached cluster.
h2. Impact
Removal of hotel search degradation risk due to avoiding SPOF in hinv-memcached, resulting in increased stability of hinv-app.
h2. Risk
If connectivity is not properly set, storing inventories to cache may fail, causing degradation (high latency) to hotel searches.
