Ever been in a situation where you were in need of a meeting room for a sudden discussion, and you saw that empty meeting room only to realize that someone booked the room. You then wondered "Why someone booked that meeting room, but left it unused?"
Well.. Some of the possible causes might be:
1) Some of us (the meeting event owner) forgot to delete our then-regular meeting that has stopped being hold a few months ago.
2) We've just moved and forgot to kick out that old meeting room we booked for our regular calendar, e.g. weekly, monthly sync meeting.
3) We book the meeting room as a placeholder, in anticipation of a possible meeting, but then forgot to release it when the meeting doesn't happen.
I believe there are some people who want to use that booked, but unused, meeting room—we might even be one of them!
So, please release our unused meeting room booking. Check if you have ever created a no-longer-running meeting, if you've just moved to another floor, or if you simply book the room as a place holder.
