Hotel

During long weekend on 5-8 May 2016, Traveloka has set a new record with more than 18,000 hotel transactions/day. These new milestone mark Traveloka as the most dependable and choiceable hotel bookings.

Flight

Ramadan and Lebaran will be the peak season for flight bookings as most people will travel to their hometown (mudik). Thus, the team will focus to cater this demand with a various marketing campaign in multiple channels.


MARKETING

The team has launched the newest TVC on 17 May 2016. The main message of the TVC is to encourage people to book flights/hotels for Lebaran 2016 with a catchy phrase Traveloka first, then xxx (Traveloka dulu, xxx kemudian).

For Indonesia market, the team is preparing for Lebaran campaign by encourage people to book as early as possible with various attractive promotion (e.g. 0% installment) starts from 6 June 2016 to D+7 Lebaran.

In this quiz, we encourage people commenting on the latest TVC video post on Facebook to make it viral. The team has launched the 2.4 version. In this update, there are some major improvement:

Customers can now reschedule their domestic flight (ID) on-the-go through their mobile app. Currently, the feature is only enabled for Android users but it will be added soon for iOS users.

The new feature marks Traveloka as the first OTA in Southeast Asia that has to reschedule feature, cutting the complicated process whenever customers wanted to reschedule their flight by calling the airlines directly. The launched of the new feature is align with Traveloka’s commitment to give the best end-to-end customer experience with the best product and service.

On 10 May 2016, the team has silently launched the new feature called Traveloka StayNow. Currently, the new feature is accessible to all iOS users and by the end of May, it will be enabled to 100% Android users and adding up to 13 destinations.

INTERNATIONAL UPDATE

TH team has set a new record by reaching more than 3,000 of flight transactions/day. The team is planning to aim 5,000 transactions/day in a few months ahead.

After the launch of OnePay for payment, multiple rounds of promotions were launched from 18 April 2016 onwards. As a result, search to issued conversion rates has increased five times from average of 0.1% prior 18 April 2016 to 0.5% on 28 May 2016.

The team will implement additional payment method, Payoo, which will be completed by mid of June.
