Business Process Identification MoM (2015-09-01)
A. Identification on top-level business process
List of BP - WIP
Primary activities (customer-facing processes)
Activities which requires cross-division coordination. Mainly regarding sales process.
Support activities
Activities which can be done independently in the division (no need of cross-division sync).
B. Feedback from initial diagramming effort
- Shown 3 diagrams: Eric's, Desy's, and Aldith's.
- Figuring out on how to do sub-processes: keep process diagrams simple, create into sub-process if it's too complex.
- What level of details needed for the process? If it related to financial transactions and external parties (customer & vendors).
- Both vertical or horizontal can be used, use the best fit (vertical still preferred if possible as easier to scroll).
C. Further actions
- Adding more level of details as the sub-process of top-level diagram. It can be done in smaller teams (according to the domain knowledge, in collaboration).
- Small meetings can be done independently.
- Next sync up meeting (all) to be done in two weeks.
