BOD Room’s A/V System Enhancement Proposal

In response to Alfan and Ray’s feedback regarding the microphone quality and video quality on the video conference (VC) system at BOD Meeting Room (Genghis Khan). Corporate IT is exploring several solutions to enhance the audio and video quality that allows meeting participants to communicate with confidence with the far end (online) participant.

The solutions proposal is provided by the vendors who are invited to a series of demo (PoC) sessions starting from February 2022 until March 2022. In summary, the option provided is as follows:


Based on the evaluation of the demo sessions, we come to the following recommendations:

The recommended solution is Opt.4: Install a new VC system and new microphone system (Gooseneck microphone) replacing the existing VC and microphone system which include:

There are no substantial cons with this solution, more on behavior adaptation in usage.

As for the project cost, we estimate a budget of roughly 1,2 Bio IDR or 82,758 USD. We can discuss the plan in more detail if you choose to proceed, and can adjust the budget based on your specific needs and our recommendations.
