We (Site Infra Team) are trying to improve our process by making it easier for everyone to create new infrastructure requests and infrastructure change requests. We also want to make our request handling process much more efficient on our side. The goal is to minimize the amount of time it takes to collect information necessary to execute your requests in quick, efficient, but also secure and sustainable manner.
We are switching from our hand-made Confluence forms to JIRA Service Desk and we ask for your patience and support as we're doing it. We have created initial Service Desk project and request froms, but we will continue to improve them during next while based on our experience with the system and your valuable feedback.
We want to make it very clear to our customers (You) what information they need to provide, and reduce the time it takes to collect it. We also want to make sure that we can process a greater number of requests each week based on their importance, so our company and business can maximize the benefits generated by the provisioned infrastructure.
