There are multiple Elastic Load Balancers (ELB) currently running in midas and mfc accounts with 0 Consumed LCUs for last 3 month. An LCU measures the dimensions on which the Application Load Balancer processes your traffic (averaged over an hour). The four dimensions measured are [1] :
We assume 0 Consumed LCUs means this LB might not used anymore or have redundant LB.
To reduce infrastructure cost, we will terminate confirmed unused ELBs, i.e. have SAFE TO DELETE column checked in this list.
To get list of unused LB please check it here or you can also check on our datadog dashboard (midas org)
@fintech-devops-infra-eng will terminate confirmed unused ELBs.
Please uncheck SAFE TO DELETE column in this list if your LB mentioned there and the LB still in use.
We will delete ELB after deadline had passed
