Backend GitHub Socialization and Trial Session

By the end of this week, you should've been registered at GitHub and invited to the traveloka GitHub organization. As announced in the Backend GitHub Migration Plan, next week will be the socialization and trial period of the GitHub Migration.

Backend Infra will conduct a workshop on the new git workflow implementation in GitHub on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 in JKT-W77T2-2-Godwitorium, at 1.30-3.30p.m. The goal is to make you comfortable and prepared to develop in GitHub using the recommended Git Workflow.
Kindly:

Read Backend GitHub Standard and git workflow guide beforehand so you are prepared. Your feedback on the document and the guide are welcome!
Bring your laptop with you as we'll be interacting with git CLI and GitHub GUI.

If you can't make it to the session, please spare some time to do the things below to the dummy application repository yourself:

fork the repository into your own
make changes into your fork's feature branch
create a pull request of your feature
review others' pull request
merge your reviewed pull request to the main branch
create a release branch and push it to the upstream
trigger the application release build in Jenkins
tag a production-released commit
monitor client modules release progress in AWS CodeBuild
develop a hotfix and merge it to your release branch
